You cannot get close to many places and obtain quests in Star Wars Outlaws without a certain amount of reputation. The Eavesdropping quest is one such mission that can net you reputation points.
The players allied with the Crimson Dawn in Star Wars Outlaws can pick up intel by eavesdropping. This will boost their rep points for the Crimson Dawn or Pyke Syndicate.
1. How to complete the Eavesdropping quest in Star Wars Outlaws?
To complete Eavesdropping, follow these steps-
- First, head to the Mirogana region‘s Market District.
- Overhear a conversation between two men by the ramps.
- Follow the hints to Makal’s Gambling Parlor.
- Find the recording device.
- Choose Dawn or the Pykes and hand over the device for reputation points.
2. How to begin the Eavesdropping quest?
To unlock Eavesdropping, you must have a certain reputation with the Crimson Dawn. It would be best if you had this to walk the streets in the busy market area.
The quest can be initiated by heading to the Market area of the Mirogana region under the Crimson Dawn. Head to the restricted corner area with the ramps there, and you can spot two men talking.
Hide to the side and overhear their conversation; the two are chatting by some monitors on the right side of the ramp and can listen in across from them. They will discuss a recording device placed under the Makal’s Gambling Parlor table.
3. How to obtain the recording device?
After overhearing the conversation in the Market District in Mirogana, head to Makal’s Gambling Parlor. The quest’s objective is to head to the search area (the Parlor) and obtain the recording device.
The recording device cannot be found in the main gambling room of Makal’s Parlor. The device is hidden under the table in a different room.
To get there, head to the silver hallway (there are guards there, but they will not interrupt you). The hallway is to the far right of the entrance.
Walk until you reach the end of the silver hallway. It would be best if you then turned left to spot the table. The device is hidden under the table; get it and leave.
To complete the quest, you need to choose one faction to hand over the recording device to–
- Crimson Dawn
- Pyke Syndicate
Whichever faction you choose will take the recording device from you. In return, you will be able to obtain a decent amount of reputation points and there is no risk of offending the opposite faction and losing reputation.

Star Wars Outlaws is an upcoming action-adventure game developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft under license by Lucasfilm Games. The game will be set in the Star Wars universe, during the period between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.
