While Eivor and the Viking clan make their way towards England for King Alfred’s downfall, they built a small settlement in Ravensthorpe for shelter. This settlement, filled with civilians, acts as the center of communication for your travels in AC Valhalla. You, as their leader Eivor, can build new shops, upgrade, and even throw a feast or two to entertain your audience.
If you’re not much of a talker, time to sharpen your social skills as the game hands you a mission to be the perfect social butterfly for your Raventhorpe settlement. The mission requires Eivor to call a Feast as part of the War Effort quest of AC Valhalla’s Sigrblot Festival. Now, if you’re wondering how to host this so-called Feast? Here are all the details you need!
First things first, remember you need to be inside your Raventhorpe settlement and in front of the Longhouse to call in a Feast for the people.
How to Call A Feast in AC Valhalla?
To call a Feast in AC Valhalla, players need to head to the front of the Longhouse and ring the bell. This will trigger the Feast cutscene. Holding a Feast each time will cost you a little silver but will reward you with some Feast Buffs helpful in the game.
Just a tip– Remember you need to upgrade your Raventhorpe settlement to a Level 4 before you can attempt to hold a Feast in the Longhouse.
To get to level four, you can gather raw materials, upgrade the shops and other buildings, and even build new buildings necessary for the settlement.
Feast Buffs in AC Valhalla
After players hold a Feast in the Raventhorpe settlement in AC Valhalla, they will be awarded with some special Feast Buffs that will last for 3 hours in the game.
These Feast Buffs include:
Building Required | Feast Buff | Settlement Level Required |
Bakery | +25 Health | Level 2 |
Brewery | +25 Health | Level 2 |
Cattle Farm | +3.0 Ranged Damage | Level 3 |
Grain Farm | +3.0 Armor | Level 3 |
Fowl Farm | +3.0 Melee Damage | Level 3 |
Alvis and Holger’s House | +3.8 Assassination Damage | Level 3 |
Kari’s House | +3.8 Assassination Damage | Level 4 |
Mayda’s House | +3.8 Assassination Damage | Level 4 |
You need to build these specific buildings in your settlement to avail the buffs during Feasts. Leveling up the settlement will also help you unlock more buildings faster and fasten your progression in the game.
Throw a Feast Mission in AC Valhalla’s Sigrblot Festival
Besides the usual way of throwing a Feast in Ravensthorpe, the Sigrblot Festival has a particular mission that allows Eivor to arrange for a Feast to entertain the festivities.
The mission titled “The War Effort” has a sub quest of “Throwing a Feast.” This can be done by the same method, i.e., approaching and ringing the bell of the Longhouse.
After the feast is done, you will be able to continue with the rest of “The War Effort” missions and find plenty of other quests and games to participate in the Sigrblot Festival.
How to Fix the Feast Bugs/Glitches in AC Valhalla?
Some players seem to have experienced bugs and glitches regarding the Ravensthorpe settlement’s Feast. If you’re also in the same boat, here are some possible fixes for you.
- Feast Bell Does Not Ring– If you’re facing this bug in the game, check to see if you’ve already built the bakery in your settlement and reached level 4. If not, get to the building immediately; otherwise, you won’t be able to host a feast.
- Feast Buffs Stats Do Not Appear- If this is the bug you’re facing in the game, try to revert to a previously saved file and see if it still appears or not. If it’s fixed, then you’re good to go, but if the bug remains, you can either drop a bug report on their forums or wait for a hotfix from the devs.
Now that you know what to do, go pick up some materials and start building your own Ravensthorpe settlement to host some epic feasts!
