New Top Tier Spectro DPS- Best Jinshi Build in Wuthering Waves

Jinshi is a five-star Spectro DPS character who will be released in Wuthering Waves version 1.1 on June 28, 2024. She uses a Broadblade as her weapon and deals deadly combos with her Forte Circuit and Resonance Skill. Interestingly, she will be the first character in the game to ignore very important combat mechanics—yes, I am talking about Concerto mechanics.

1. How to Build Jinshi in Wuthering Waves?

To build Jinshi properly, you need a good weapon, her best echo set with decent stats, and a well-built team. Apart from that, a balanced CRIT Stat on her (preferably 60 CRIT Rate and 170+ CRIT DMG) is also necessary.

2. Best Weapons for Jinshi in Wuthering Waves?

Jinshi’s best weapon is her signature Broadblade, Ages of Harvest. The weapon has a high base attack of 588 and a 24.3% CRIT Rate. Its special passive, Blessing of Ages, stacks up to four times when using basic attacks and is consumed when using a Resonance Skill. This feature also increases Elemental Damage of all types, including Spectro, aligning perfectly with Jinshi’s kit.

3. Best Echo Set

The Celestial Light is the best Echo set not only for Jinshi but any Spectro DPS. The 2-pc set provides a 10% Spectro DMG bonus, and the 5-pc set an additional whopping 30% Spectro DMG bonus.

However, you can use 5-pc Lingering Tunes or 2-pc-2-pc of the two if you lack a good 5-pc Celestial Light Set.

Note: Sentinel Jue is the recommended 4-cost Echo for Jinshi, but if you don’t have it or the stats aren’t great, you can also use the Mourning Aix. 

4. Brief Overview of Jinshi’s Kit

Jinshi’s damage comes from her Forte Circuit and Elemental Skill. When any team member attacks, Jinshi gains a stack called Incandescence, up to 40 stacks. She enters an enhanced state every time her intro skill is used, and performing her basic attack sequence puts her into a second enhanced form, significantly increasing her Resonance Skill’s damage by using Incandescence stacks. 

During this enhanced state, her Resonance Skill cooldown is reset. Using Jinshi’s Resonance Skill in this second enhanced state also enables her to trigger her Outro skill without using Concerto energy, but this can only be done once every twenty-five seconds.
