Giant Slayer: A Step-wise Guide to Quickly Defeat the Forsaken Giant

The world of Once Human offers players exactly what they need- the metaphorical spark that is required to keep them wanting more. This spark differs for players at different stages.

If you are in the earlier stages, you will have events that will help you progress faster. If you are sufficiently leveled up, you can clear dungeons and unlock gear and Deviants. What about those who have reached the end game?

Well, they get Bosses. Unique Bosses, to be precise. Each of them has a different pattern, weakness and even reward drop. It leads to exhilarating fights for those who want to prove themselves. The Forsaken Giant is one such special Boss.

1. How to defeat the Forsaken Giant in Once Human?

Follow these steps to defeat the Forsaken Giant in Once Human-

1. Target Weakspots: The Forsaken Giant has several glowing red areas, including its head. These areas are its weak points. Concentrate and steadily aim at these areas to deal massive damage.
2. Pick-up Tears: The Forsaken Giant drops tears at intervals. Pick them up, and the Giant will be afflicted with a temporary stun. You can whittle down its HP within this duration.
3. Good Weapon: Have a strong output weapon with high accuracy and fire rate. This will let you move and shoot to keep up with the Boss. Blue AK and AWS Bingo are great choices for this battle.
4. Right Gear: Crit Rate is a must on the gear, along with increased fire rate/ weapon damage/ weak spot damage.
5. Move and Roll: The Forsaken Giant is very unpredictable and launches a multitude of attacks. Being on the move will keep you alert and let you dodge most of them.
6. Keep an eye out for the Phases: The Giant is an end-game Boss with many phases. These change its attack patterns and may take you by surprise. Be mindful and react accordingly.
7. Use Items and Potions: Use potions or replenishing items whenever you see your HP going down; the Boss can one-shot you with many attacks, so don’t skimp on using items.

2. Forsaken Giant Weak Spots

The Forsaken Giant’s weak spots are in glowing red. Even though it is towering at a scary height, the red areas are not difficult to hit if you focus. The damage dealt will be higher in these spots.

The palm attack of the Giant reveals within the palms another red area. This is the spot you should focus on primarily. The reason is that it is closer to you, and the movement is slow (unless it’s a sweep attack).

3. Pick up the Crimson Tears

The Forsaken Giant sure is difficult to take down, especially since you have to always be on the move to avoid its random flurry of attacks. That is where these little goodies come into play.

The Giant drops these crimson tears around the field periodically. You can collect them to apply a STUN on the Boss for a short while, during this time, you can calmly deal focused damage to the Boss.

4. Gear Up Efficiently

The thing about the Forsaken Giant is that it is a true blue end-game Boss. So especially if you are soloing it, be prepared. No matter how good your skills are, the attack patterns of the Giant are unpredictable and can cause almost instant K.O.

Get good weapons, since you need to focus on one area (moving area) and deal a lot of damage. You need a good weapon with a high fire rate and generally high output. That’s the only way you can beat this Pro-difficulty Boss.

The gear you use should ideally have increased Weak Spot damage or Critical Rate. Increased Weapon Damage is the alternative choice.

5. Adapting to the Phases

The Boss Forsaken Giant has a lot of Phases that you reach by dwindling its HP bar. You can see it on the top of your screen. It is better to be prepared for what you will face. The main ones to look out for are-

• Aurora Fist- The Forsaken Giant disappears. Only to appear after a few seconds with his fist shining in the colors of an aurora. It slams the fist down at the players, and if you get it- you are done for.

• The Summons- The Forsaken Giant has a whole host of summons, including very small mobs that appear randomly. The main ones to look out for are the Arbiters and the Floaters (they fly in the air, which makes them harder to hit).
