The Major Order in Helldivers 2 is the community-wide liberation campaign and the main objective for all Helldivers, which aims to unify all the players in the game towards a common goal. Once good progress is made in the Galactic War, a new order is delivered for all Helldivers to accomplish.

Completing the Major Order rewards you with a large sum of Requisition (cash), so it’s not a bad deal for Democracy. The game issued new Major Orders on February 15th and this time, it’s against the Automatons.

To win Defend Campaign Missions against the Automatons, players need to complete all mission types and objectives to keep the Helldiver Blue Bar further along than the Automaton Red Bar.

Each of the Active Planets has a timer attached to it which tells us when that specific planet’s Defense Campaign will end. In addition to that, a blue and red bar are present under each planet’s name.

Blue represents Helldiver progress, and Red represents Automaton progress, and your goal is to ensure that the Blue bar is always ahead of the Red one. Otherwise, that planet will forever be lost to Automatons, thus failing to complete the Major Order.
