Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate isn’t as big as its successor entries in the franchise but it isn’t very small either. Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate was also the first entry in the series to feature two main protagonists – Jacob and Evie Frye which added a new dimension to the gameplay.
The game takes place in the most modern time period yet for a main line Assassin’s Creed entry and it’s set during the industrial revolution in London. There’s no definitive answer to how long the game takes to complete as it depends on the player, but we’ll give you some estimates.
If you want to finish just the main story of Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate, it’ll take you around 19 hours. Completing both main quests and side quests will take you around 33 hours while a completionist run of the game will take you around 54 hours.
No matter how you decide to approach the game, your playtime numbers shouldn’t be that far off from the numbers listed above. Difficulty can’t really affect your playtime as the game doesn’t have a difficulty setting so you’ll have to play the game in one predetermined difficulty setting without an option to turn it up or down.
1. How long are the DLCs?
Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate has 3 DLC expansions which might not add a whole lot to the game but are still fun to play through and they are:
- Jack The Ripper: The Jack The Ripper DLC is about 3 hours in length but a completionist run of the DLC will take you around 8 hours.
- The Last Maharaja: The main story of The Last Maharaja will take you around 2 hours to complete but a completionist run will take you roughly 3 hours.
- The Dreadful Crimes: The main story of The Dreadful Crimes will take you around 3 hours to complete while a completionist run of the expansion will take you roughly around 4 hours.
2. Is Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate hard?
Since Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate doesn’t have difficulty levels, you can’t really choose at which difficulty you want to play the game. But Syndicate is neither too hard, nor too easy, it is just perfect. It can be challenging at the beginning but nothing a few upgrades and skills can’t solve.
The new combat system in Syndicate makes the combat way more fun and engaging than the previous entries. You might be underleveled but you can be resourceful so the game lets you choose how you want to approach any battle. You can either play it safe and upgrade yourself enough to defeat your foes or you can just jump right into battle and creatively take down your opponents.
3. How many endings does Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate have?
Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate has only one definitive ending. The final mission revolves around the Frye twins and Henry Green trying to stop Templar Crawford Starrick from killing the Queen of England and find an ancient Isu artifact hidden beneath Buckingham Palace.
What makes this mission fantastic is that you get to use both Evie and Jacob at the same time. The twins eventually assassinate Starrick and kill him, after which the Queen Knights both Jacob and Evie and that is how the game ends.
4. 100% Completion

5. Is Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate repetitive?
Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate had a great combat system but after some time it can get repetitive but you can easily spice up your encounters by using creative ways to approach gangs and enemies. The combat can be repetitive but it’s fun according to the majority of the players.
The game overall isn’t very repetitive as the setting of the game is enough to keep you engaged for long hours. Although the lack of variety in gameplay might be a deal breaker as it might make the game a bit repetitive. But overall it is a fun game that can feel repetitive at times.

8. About Assassin’s Creed Syndicate
The ninth main instalment of the Assassin’s Creed franchise couldn’t be any more gripping than Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. The story is set in 1868 London and follows the tale of twin assassins, Jacob and Evie Frye, as they plot to eliminate the hold of organised crime and regain control from the Templars.
It was developed by Ubisoft Quebec and published by Ubisoft. Although the foundational premise of the game remains true to the whole series, the exclusive side missions and character introductions let you capture the essence of the Victorian era.
