How long does it take to beat AC: Revelations? Main Story & 100% Completion Time

Assassin’s Creed: Revelations is the final installment in the Ezio trilogy and brings his story to a closure. Ezio’s final adventure sends him on a quest to find the keys to Altair’s secret library. Altair’s story is also given closure through a series of flashbacks in the game.

The game is not very short but it’s shorter than the previous three titles in the franchise. Due to the game not being very long, it wraps up Ezio and Altair’s stories pretty quickly. Although the completion time will differ from player to player as how you choose to approach the game depends on you.

If you want to complete the main story of Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, you’ll require around 12 hours. For completing both the main story and all the side quests you’ll require around 20 hours and a completionist run of the game will take you around 34 hours.

Difficulty will not be a factor when it comes to determining your playtime as Assassin’s Creed: Revelations does not have any kind of difficulty settings.

Assassin’s Creed: Revelations has only one definitive ending which serves as a conclusion to both Altair and Ezio’s story. In the ending, Ezio eventually finds the keys to Altair’s library only to find out that there’s nothing in it except Altair’s corpse.

Ezio discovers Altair’s Apple of Eden in the library but refuses to take it and instead he drops his gauntlet as a sign of retirement. Desmond then triggers a Nexus Link and meets Jupiter, a person from the first civilisation who built temples underground to save Isus and humanity.

He entrusts Desmond with the task of saving the world from another disaster. The game ends with Desmond, his father and his friends entering the Grand Temple in New York as instructed by Jupiter.

Naturally the game might be a bit challenging for you at the beginning but if you’ve played previous games in the franchise, then you shouldn’t have any problem getting used to the mechanics.

According to the majority of the players, the game can be pretty challenging at times but isn’t very hard overall. Some players are also of the opinion that some missions are tedious. Ezio Fighting – Assassin’s Creed Revelations

If you’re a fan of Ezio or in general a fan of the Assassin’s Creed franchise, then you can’t skip Assassin’s Creed: Revelations as it is the final part in the Ezio Trilogy and wraps up both Ezio and Altair’s story.

The story follows an older Ezio as he travels to Constantinople to find five keys needed to unlock a vault that was built by Altair three centuries ago. The game also progresses Desmond’s journey too and the ending is bound to leave you with more questions.

6. Is Assassin’s Creed: Revelations a main game?

Ezio Battling Leandros – Assassin’s Creed Revelations

Assassin’s Creed: Revelations is the fourth major installment in the series and a direct sequel to Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood. The game is also the final chapter in the Ezio trilogy and gives closure to both Ezio and Altair’s stories.

Some players tend to think that this game is a spin-off of sorts but it is very much a main game and cannot be skipped. If you skip this game and directly go to Assassin’s Creed: III, you’ll miss how Ezio’s story ends and how Desmond’s story progresses.
