Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood is a direct sequel to Assassin’s Creed: II and is the second chapter in the Ezio trilogy. It is the third major installment in the Assassin’s Creed franchise and follows Ezio trying to rebuild the Assassin Brotherhood in Rome by bringing down the Borgia family.
Brotherhood is also the first non-numbered title in the Assassin’s Creed franchise which might lead you to think that it’s a spin-off of sorts, but rest assured it is a full-length game and a main game in the franchise. The game was remastered for PS4 and Xbox One as part of The Ezio Collection in 2016.
If you want to finish the main story of Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, you’ll require around 15 hours. Completing both the main story and the side quests will take around 25 hours and a completionist run of the game will take around 41 hours.
Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood doesn’t have a difficulty setting which means you have to play at a predetermined difficulty so don’t worry about difficulty affecting your playtime.
1. How long are the DLCs?
Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood has two DLC expansions which are not that long but are still fun to play through and they are:
I. Copernicus Conspiracy: This DLC focuses on the famed astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus. The DLC takes around 1 hour to complete and a completionist run will take less than 2 hours.
II. The Da Vinci Disappearance: This DLC focuses on Ezio trying to find Leonardo Da Vinci after he was kidnapped. The main story of this DLC will take around 2 hours to complete while a completionist run will take around 3 hours.
2. How many endings does Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood have?
Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood has only one ending which serves as the definitive ending for the game. At the end of Brotherhood, our modern-day protagonist starts to lose control of his body and turns to Lucy, who has been guiding Desmond throughout all the games.
Lucy has been helping Desmond relieve his ancestors’ memories. At the end of Brotherhood, Lucy and Desmond both reach for an artifact, but Desmond loses control over his body, and unsheathes a blade and kills Lucy. The screen goes black and that is how the game ends.
3. Does Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood have multiplayer?
Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood does have multiplayer, the first game in the series to do so. In Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood’s multiplayer mode, players assume the role of Templars in training and there are multiple characters that you can play with.
Unfortunately, the online services for Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood were shut down by Ubisoft last September. So even if you wanted to play the multiplayer mode of Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, you cannot.
4. Is Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood hard?
Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood can be challenging at times. Most players are of the opinion that the game is harder than its predecessors but not complex. If you’re familiar with the mechanics of previous games, then you won’t have any problem getting used to Brotherhood’s mechanics.
Some players, on the other hand, are of the opinion that the game is easier than its predecessors. At the end of the day, it depends on how you choose to approach the game, but the main thing is to have fun so enjoy the game.
