How long does it take to beat Assassin’s Creed I? Main Story & 100% Completion Time

Assassin’s Creed I is the game that kickstarted the humongous franchise that it is today. Assassin’s Creed I is the first major installment in the Assassin’s Creed franchise and was released in 2007 while a Director’s Cut Edition with additional content was released in 2008.

Assassin’s Creed I follows Desmond Miles as he relieves the memories of one of his ancestors Altair Ibn-La’Ahad. Altair lived in the Holy Land during the Third Crusade and two ancient sects – The Assassin Order and The Knight Templars – are in war with each other to find an artifact known as a “Piece of Eden”.

If you’re aiming to complete the main story of Assassin’s Creed I, it will take you around 15 hours. For completing both the main story and the side missions, you will require around 20 hours while doing a completionist run of the game will take you around 32 hours.

Difficulty won’t be a factor when considering your playtime as the game does not have a difficulty setting so you have to play the game on a predetermined difficulty setting.

1. Does Assassin’s Creed I have any DLC?

Assassin’s Creed I doesn’t have any DLC. It’s not surprising that Assassin’s Creed I doesn’t have any DLC since this was the first game in the franchise and was a relatively new IP when it came out.

The first Assassin’s Creed DLC was released with Assassin’s Creed: II. After Assassin’s Creed: II, more or less all the games in the franchise have their own DLCs. Assassin’s Creed I was the first game in the series so naturally it doesn’t have any DLCs.

2. How many endings does Assassin’s Creed I have?

Altair VS Al Mualim – Assassin’s Creed I

Assassin’s Creed I has one ending which serves as the definitive ending for the entirety of the game. There are no multiple endings as this is the first game in the series. The final battle of the game takes place between Altait and Al Mualim. Altair eventually wins but is unable to destroy the Apple of Eden, but the Apple reveals locations of other Pieces of Eden.

In the modern day, Desmond learns that Abstergo is a reincarnation of the Templar Order. Desmond finds out that he can use Eagle Vision just like Altair due to being in Animus for too long. He finds various cryptic messages using his Eagle Vision. The game ends when Desmond goes to his room and finds cryptic messages imprinted on the wall behind his bed.

3. Is Assassin’s Creed I a hard game?

The Leap of Faith – Assassin’s Creed I

According to the majority of the players, Assassin’s Creed I is an easy game and not as challenging as the franchise’s future entries. Mastering the combat and the game’s mechanics shouldn’t be that hard as you can just get used to it by doing the missions.

The game being too easy isn’t necessarily bad or doesn’t make the game unplayable. At its core, Assassin’s Creed is still an extremely fun game to play through so if you just want to have fun, the difficulty shouldn’t matter that much.

4. Will there be an Assassin’s Creed I Remake?

But Ubisoft confirmed last year that they don’t have any plans to remake the first Assassin’s Creed game. But Ubisoft is returning to the roots of what made Assassin’s Creed so good in the first place with their next game, Assassin’s Creed: Mirage.
