The Wandering Doctor
Yeon and Shin-Joo enter the afterlife immigration office, unknowing that the original mountain god watches them silently. Rang, however, rushes to say goodbye to Yeon. Taluipa is relieved when Yeon arrives and instructs them to leave, but Yeon hesitates since he hasn’t said goodbye to Rang. Rang arrives and tells his brother how he protected his loved ones. He apologizes and offers him Yeon’s fortune string.
Yeon unlocks the door to return home after the two cry. Hong-Joo and Moo-young wonder about their friend after Shin-joo goes. Hong-Joo then asks Moo-young about his goal and tells her he now wants to be a roaming doctor and become the person she wants. Hong-Joo misses Yeon and returns to Myeoyeonggak as he wants to return to her.
The intertwining threads of vengeance, redemption, and the supernatural came together in a thrilling climax, promising a riveting finale that would leave a lasting impression on fans.
What happened to the Original Mountain God?
Episode 12 shows us that the original mountain god is now the main antagonist and has his hands on Taluipa’s thousand-miles eyes. The last scene of his is outside the afterlife immigration office, looking at Yeon and Shin-Joo. However, he is ready to bring chaos very soon.
As Taluipa mentioned in episode 11, the original mountain god’s power had been divided into four treasures: the golden ruler and the guardian stone. She also said that these treasures don’t appear in the same era together, so we can assume that he will now embark on a journey through time to get his hands on the other three treasures.
