Does Sabine Wren die in Ahsoka? Sabine’s Fate in the Finale Explained

Sabine Wren is one of the most important characters in the latest Star Wars live-action series, Ahsoka. She is a Mandalorian who became a Jedi apprentice to Ahsoka in the series.

Since we’re used to saying goodbye to some of our most beloved characters as Star Wars fans, many were wondering if Sabine would actually make it out alive in Ahsoka. But the good news is that she does.

Sabine does not die in Ahsoka. She escapes the planet of Peridea and remains alive at the end of the show. She also survives after being stabbed by the lightsaber in the first episode of the series.

1. How does Sabine survive in Ahsoka?

Sabine has a near-death experience only once in the first episode of Ahsoka. Shin Hati stabs Sabine with the lightsaber in episode 1, but she survives due to immediate medical attention.

Moreover, Sabine was not stabbed in any critical area of her body and was not severely injured. So, she recovers quickly from her injuries and begins training with Ahsoka.

Throughout the rest of the season, Sabine accompanies Ahsoka as the two face Grand Admiral Thrawn. Although Sabine fights many deadly battles, she is never severely injured. She does not come close to death any time after episode 1.

2. Why did Qui-Gon Jinn not survive?

Although Sabine survives the stabs by the lightsaber, Quin-Gon Jinn does not make it. He was stabbed in crucial areas of his body and was severely injured. Moreover, he did not receive immediate medical attention as Sabine did.

Sabine just got quite lucky in this regard, as she was not hurt in delicate areas. Shin Hati even tried to stab her multiple times after stabbing her once, but Sabine was able to block them.

3. What happens to Sabine in the Ahsoka finale?

In the Ahsoka finale, Sabine, Ahsoka, and Ezra infiltrate Grand Admiral Thrawn’s base on the mysterious planet of Peridea. Then, they face and defeat Morgan Elsbeth, an ally of Thrawn.

Sabine also rescues her long-time friend, Ezra Bridger, and uses her newly-acquired Force abilities to escape into hyperspace from Peridea using Thrawn’s ship. She manages to contact Ahsoka and tells her that she is joining Ezra in his fight against Thrawn.

Sabine and Ezra then return to their home galaxy, where they meet Hera Syndulla, a Rebel leader. The Ahsoka finale ends with Sabine finally keeping her promise of bringing Ezra back and helping him defeat Thrawn. She also proved herself to be a worthy apprentice of Ahsoka and a competent Jedi.

4. Will Sabine die in Ahsoka?

As of now, there is no way to predict whether or not Sabine will die in future episodes of Ahsoka. The series has not yet been renewed for a second season, so it is too early to make guesses.

However, considering how important Sabine is to the story and how her story ends on a hopeful note in the season 1 finale, it is unlikely that she will die anytime soon.
