In Demon Fall, you can only become a hybrid if you are at level 50, and have a minimum of 5 Muzan Bloods. You then have to head to the hybrid trainer, Upper Moon 1, aka Kokushibo. You’ll find him in the Frosty Forest, near Demon cave; he’ll be right next to a huge Moai head.
You have to be a Demon Slayer to become a hybrid, but you don’t have to have Prestige. Muzan Blood is very hard to come by – you have to buy the Unknown Item from the Black Merchant for 3000 yen; then too, you only have a 1 in 4 chance that the item will reveal itself to be Muzan Blood.
You can also buy it from the Roblox in-game shop. Most players prefer to trade Muzan Blood using Discord, in exchange for other abilities like Wipe or potions. Roblox’s Demon Fall is perhaps one of the only Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba games to support hybrid characters.
What is a hybrid in Demon Fall?
A hybrid in the Demon Fall game is a player-mode that can use demon, as well as demon slayer abilities, i.e., Breathing Styles as well as Blood Demon Arts. Hybrids are essentially demons who were demon slayers before they were turned into demons.
In the Demon Slayer anime/manga, the most famous hybrid is Kokushibo. In Demon Fall, he turns players into hybrids and also trains them in Moon Breathing. You can only however learn Moon Breathing if you are at Prestige 1. If you have the rare Tokito family, you don’t have to prestige before you get Moon Breathing from Kokushibo.
Being a hybrid gives you the best of both worlds but it also has certain drawbacks that you wouldn’t ordinarily face if you were just a demon or a slayer.
What are the benefits of becoming a hybrid in Demon Fall?
There are a host of advantages of becoming a hybrid in the Demon Fall game, the biggest being that you can use Breathing styles while gaining demon stamina, health, and regeneration. Only hybrids can learn Moon Breathing which is second only to Sun Breathing.
Moon Breathing improves Water Breathing and Mist Breathing, which you can get after you become a hybrid. In fact, you can learn any form of Breathing as a hybrid, except Sun Breathing, which isn’t a surprise, since, well, demons burn under the sun, and a hybrid is a demon after all. You also get a Flesh Nichirin that replaces your Nichirin when you learn Moon Breathing.
If you have Muzan Blood after turning into a hybrid, you can reset your Breathing. If you’re from the Kamado clan, being a hybrid has a solid plus: you can walk under the sun and near Wisteria trees without fear of being obliterated.
Hybrids can cut down the cost of Kendo Mastery in the Slayer Skill Tree by 3 points and the cost of other upgrades in the Kendo Skill Tree by 1 point, other than Shoulder Bash and Lunge. Hybrids are able to pass barriers created by demons and also spawn at demon hideouts. Hybrids have increased HP and stats, and can eat meat – including human/slayer/enemy flesh, to fill their appetite.
What are the disadvantages of becoming a hybrid in Demon Fall?
The biggest downside of becoming a hybrid in Demon Fall, is that you fall to level 25 from level 50, lose all your skill points and your collected Muzan Blood, and most importantly, you lose all your Breathing. Hybrids can never learn Sun Breathing, nor access Blood Demon Art (yet).
You can’t change your Breathing once you’re a hybrid and the two common Breathing styles that can be accessed are Moon and Thunder Breathing. The only way to reset your breathing is by drinking Muzan Blood, but as we know, it’s super hard to obtain.
Your appearance will also change and you, as a hybrid, will acquire horns, demon eyes, or face marks. You can’t have any other food item except meat.
So, becoming a hybrid is definitely worth a shot, but be ready to let go of your Breathing and other skills. However, if you want to switch back to being a demon or a Demon Slayer, you can just prestige again for a total reset – but you’ll lose Moon Breathing and your Hybrid.
