My Hero Academia is the definition of shonen manga and its seven years of serialization proves the fact. However, like every manga series, it is also nearing the end.
Many popular titles are coming to an end this year and as a manga fan, I know how empty you must be feeling right now. There’s a bit of excitement about how the manga might end, but we also need to get ready to face the ending blues.
Kohei Horikoshi, the genius creator of My Hero Academia, recently had an interview with the Jump Giga magazine and we are here to update you on it!
Horikoshi hesitated to reveal which characters will play the biggest roles in the manga’s finale. However, he did let slip that Hawks and Ochako will serve as a “light of hope” for readers.
Shouji, Monoma, Sero, and Shinsou will also have some important roles to play. The actions of the characters will merge into a big scenario.
He also revealed that the final act was planned a long time ago. The main elements that he had decided before starting the series still remain the same! However, he started chalking it out in more detail after the 21st volume.
In some of the recent chapters, Horikoshi had enjoyed drawing the scene where Dabi revealed himself before Endeavor. His face looked old to suit the merging of his duties as a hero and a father, but it made the editorial team laugh!
Best Jeanist is the character that our favorite mangaka has the most fun drawing and Horikoshi’s childish sides were revealed during the interview.
We were given a peek into the world of My Hero Academia and the finale will hit us soon as well. You do not have to start lamenting so soon because not only is the anime’s fifth season currently airing, a third movie is also going to be released.
To theorize about the ending as much as you want to and share your views with us as well!
