Honor Student at Magic High School ditches overpowered Tatsuya Shiba in favor of his low-key “notice me, onii-sama” sister Miyuki Shiba.
A spin-off of the popular The Irregular at Magic High School visual novel series, the Honor student anime retells the original story through the eyes of Miyuki Shiba. Unlike her magically inept brother, Miyuki is a magic prodigy.
But, even though she is a genius, she is not immune to school-related problems, and this is high time we knew what bothered the little yandere sister!
According to the Honor Student at Magic High School official website, the anime will premiere on 3rd July 2021 on all major Japanese broadcasting channels.

The anime was announced in December 2020, with the anime’s July 2021 release window revealed in March 2021. Honor Students at Magic High School will commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Mahōka series.
They also revealed the opening theme song “101” by Sangatsu no Phantasia, while the ending theme song is titled “Double Standard” by idol group Philosophy no Dance.

The Honor Student at Magic High School manga was pretty popular among the fans. It had a long run from June 2012 and ended in June 2020. Though the spin-off manga has ended, the anime adaptation is just in time to keep the series alive.

About The Irregular at Magic High School
The Irregular at Magic High School is based on a web novel series by Tsutomu Sato, published on an internet web novel website between 2008 and 2011.
The series is set in a world with an alternate history, where magic exists and has been polished through modern technology. However, the ability to use magic is determined by genetics, limiting the number of magicians in existence.
The story follows Tatsuya Shiba, a bodyguard to his sister Miyuki Shiba who is also a candidate to succeed in the leadership of the Yotsuba clan, one of the Ten Master Clans that govern Japan’s magicians.
They enroll into First High School which segregates its students based on their magical abilities. Miyuki is enrolled as a first course student and is viewed as one of the best students, while Tatsuya is in the second course and considered to be magically inept.
