Ever wondered what those cute little virtual animations your favorite YouTubers or Twitch streamers use are called?
That my friend is called a VTuber, and one of the many companies responsible with coming up with such gorgeous virtual animations is Japan’s Virtual YouTuber agency Hololive.
Hololive has gone above and beyond to create some iconic animations.
Now, the company is planning an ambitious virtual reality project called “Hololive Alternative”. The project’s official website even shared a promotional video showcasing the animation.
The PV gives an idea for what characters we can expect in the virtual world and even showcases the breathtaking animations.
Hololive plans to create a virtual world for content creators where they can freely communicate with international fans.
The project encourages the creators to sign up for the second round of auditions going on till March 26th in their website.
But that’s not all there is to Hololive’s 2021 goals, the company is even coming up with their own manga featuring the Hololive anime girls.
In the near future, a manga based on an original story set in “Alternative” will be released on Twitter! We’ll send you more details soon, so be sure to follow this account and stay tuned for more information

Did you know Hololive has over 50 YouTubers signed up for the VTubers already? The YouTubers include Takanashi Kiara, Ninomae Ina’nis, and many more.
Hololive’s CEO Motoaki Tanigo had said that he was planning to create an animated world where performers could host shows and international fans could join in on the event even if they are miles apart.
This could eventually create a diverse community without any worries of distance or language barriers.
Here’s hoping Hololive’s efforts come into fruition, let’s wait and see what magic they bring to us fans.
