2. Episode 7 Speculation
The next episode will show us Tsubasa’s desperate attempts to prepare for the exams. His happiness is at stake right now after his grandmother threatened him that if he doesn’t get into the top 10 for his final exams, she’ll send him back to Tokyo. To prevent that from happening and living this new happy life with his new friends Tsubasa has to give it his all.
Natsukawa Rena, his senior and neighbor, might be able to help him with this. From what we saw about her in episode 6, she seemed to be really brilliant at studies, so if Tsubasa takes guidance from her, it’s possible for him to achieve that goal since he is pretty smart himself.
3. Recap of Episode 6
The finals are near, so Fuyuki decided to do a group study with Tsubasa. She dragged Akino with them, too. After reaching Fuyuki’s home, she told Akino and Tsubasa to go upstairs to her room and wait. Akino was super shocked to know that this wasn’t Tsubasa’s first time visiting her house.
Once they started studying, Fuyuki proposed that they should do a little quiz, but in the end, she ended up losing the quiz. The group got so immersed in studying that by the time Tsubasa noticed that it was past seven o’clock, it was too late. As she rushed out of Fuyuki’s house, he ran into her mom.
She gave Tsubasa a lift to his house and thanked her for taking care of Fuyuki after the Valentine’s Day incident. Tsubasa still got scolded a lot by her grandmother for being so late. The next day, while Tsubasa went out to school, his grandmother asked him to throw out the garbage.
At the trash station, Tsubasa ran into a girl with pinkish-white hair. The girl was awkwardly attacking the nearby crows with a branch. She took off before Tsubasa could ask anything. Later at school, after hearing about her, Fuyuki recognized who that was in an instant. It was a senior of their school, Natsukawa Rena.
Fuyuki asked Tsubasa about another group study, but this time, both Tsubasa and Akino turned her down. During the break, Tsubasa went to the library to study alone and once again ran into Rena-senpai, who was sleeping there. Tsubasa was totally enchanted by this sleeping beauty.
Rena woke up and quickly came over and tried to justify her sleeping. She also noticed that Tsubasa was studying for a test, so she didn’t bother him much. After returning home, Tsubasa’s grandmother made him participate in a tea ceremony with her. Suddenly, their bell rang, and to Tsubasa’s surprise, the person standing outside was Rena.
It turned out that the two of them were neighbors, and Tsubasa introduced himself. However, after seeing him in proper Japanese attire, Rena suddenly hugged him. This caused a serious misunderstanding when Tsubasa’s grandmother saw this. Rena handled the situation before delivering the neighborhood bulletin and leaving.
