In episode 5 of “Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable!”, Tsubasa went to a karaoke with Fuyuki, Akino, and some other friends. There, Fuyuki brought up how Valentine’s Day was close and said she’d make chocolates for everyone again. However, things went terribly wrong when she was making the chocolates.

While talking to Akino over the phone, she accidentally spilled soy sauce on the chocolates, and all of it got ruined. On the day of giving it to everyone, she acted really strong all day but started crying when she was alone with Tsubasa.

The episode started with Tsubasa having fun in the karaoke with his new friends and, of course, Fuyuki and Akino. After they are done with singing, Fuyuki suddenly remembers that Valentine’s Day is close. The boys and the girls joke about getting chocolates, but this puts Akino in a real stretch.

While returning home, we saw her searching for questions regarding Valentine’s chocolate, which made it clear that she wanted to give Tsubasa some. The next day, she just shook off the thought of chocolates and distracted herself. However, the day before Valentine’s Day, she decided to make some chocolates after all.

When she went to buy the ingredients she ran into Fuyuki and ended up shopping together. After they were done buying the ingredients, she asked Fuyuki if she wanted to give Tsubasa the real thing rather than the obligatory chocolate. Fuyuki stuttered while answering, and this probably gave both of them a hint about what the other person was thinking.

Later that day, Fuyuki called Akino as she needed some help in making the chocolates. After the preparation was done, the two of them chatted a bit, and Fuyuki asked if Akino was giving chocolates to anyone other than Fuyuki. Fuyuki was so startled that she dropped soy sauce on her chocolates and hung up the phone.

The next day at school, Tsubasa received chocolates from Fuyuki just like everyone else, but he noticed something was off. After school, when it was just him with Fuyuki, she suddenly started crying. He found out what happened to the chocolates she made. To cheer up Fuyuki, Tsubasa played her favorite song on the piano, and a while later, Akino joined them, too.
