Hogwarts Legacy is an immersive, open-world game, one which would perfectly fit into a VR setup. Many fans have even wished for such a project. Recent news shows that this dream could very well be turned into a reality.
Flat2VR shared a video testing of Praydog’s VR mod for Hogwarts Legacy with a footage of 10 minutes.
The mod offers first-person and third-person views of Hogwarts Legacy. This will be applicable to cutscenes as well. Flat2VR has not announced a release date for the VR mod yet.
Currently, the Hogwarts Legacy mod does not support motion controls. So, players can only move their head around while still using a regular controller.
Praydog is a known player in the modding community. The user has already developed VR mods for Resident Evil 2 and Fortnite. Any updates come directly from their Patreon page.
After seeing this new VR mod, more such mods can be expected to pop up for Hogwarts Legacy. It is a vast open-world RPG, and there is so much that can be explored within the game.
Hogwarts Legacy will be available on three platforms– PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. A Switch version is scheduled to be released on July 25th. Although the game will be the same on all platforms, it is a plus point that its availability is not restricted.
Hogwarts Legacy is the biggest WB Games launch on Steam, after titles like LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga and Middle-earth: Shadow of War.
The gaming community is impressed with the developers’ team at Avalanche Software for creating an inclusive and detailed open-world game. Harry Potter fans are looking forward to playing this game and revisiting the grounds of Hogwarts.
Hogwarts Legacy officially launches on February 10th. However, the game is already trending after its early access set fire to the gaming community. For a fantasy game which is the talk of the town even before launch, it can only be expected that it will break records after release.
