Hogwarts Legacy is one of the biggest games of 2023 with a record-breaking release where thousands of players played it on launch day across all platforms.
Some players might be playing and completing stuff in the game even now. But those who are wondering what lies ahead for the future of Hogwarts Legacy, then we’ve got news for you.
Game Rant has obtained a new screenshot from a source that they’ve kept anonymous, which reveals that the beloved and much requested sport Golf is making its way to Hogwarts Legacy. The expansion, which is called ‘Clubs and Irons’, is set to release this year.
Golf has been the most requested sport since launch and fans have been dying to see it added to the game. But the wait is finally coming to an end as Golf will arrive in Hogwarts Legacy later this year. There’s no official date for its release but it’s coming soon enough.
There will be various challenges, and full 18-hole courses in Hogwarts, Hogsmeade and the Forbidden Forest. The only thing that’s changed is that you’ll be able to use brooms for golf carts and trolls for caddies which sound very exciting.
Developer Avalanche Software knows what fans want; hence they took the decision to finally add golf to the game. Although magical spells cannot be used while golfing but who needs magic when you’ve got golf on your side right?
It’s also been said that Avalanche has spent so much time and resources into this expansion, that this might be the only expansion coming to the game. But since it’s golf, I don’t think players will be too sad. So, we’re very excited to see how golf elevates the world of Hogwarts Legacy.

The game has an expansive map that makes the game very immersive, even for people who are yet to read the books or watched the movie.
The mysterious, gripping storyline, with the vast areas to explored, either on foot or broomstick, makes it even more real life.
