Certainty Principle is an assassination quest in Hitman 3 that takes place in Chongqing, China. The mission requires you to kill a scientist named Imogen Royce. This guide will help you clear the mission.
Like any other Hitman 3 mission, the Certainty Principle mission will involve solving puzzles, killing enemies, and tricking NPCs around you. Agent 47 will have to infiltrate Imogen Royce’s facility and then kill her.
1. Enter the Dumpling Restaurant
Upon heading inside the Dumpling Restaurant, eavesdrop on a conversation between Mr. Pritchard and Imogen Royce’s assistant. It is important to hear them out completely.
2. Finding P41 Form
To get your hands on the P41 form, look for an apartment building across the street. A waypoint will help you reach there. The code required to get inside the building is 0118.
An alternative way to get inside is by climbing the roof and using the window as an entrance.
i. Disguising Agent 47 as the “Dumplings Cook”
Go to the kitchen and dress Agent 47 as the “Dumplings Cook.” From here, add emetic poison in Pritchard’s food as you prepare it. You can get the poison from the bathroom.
3. Mr. Pritchard’s Outfit
After you are done, ring the bell to get the waiter to serve the dish. Once the waiter serves the dish, Mr. Pritchard will rush to the washroom. Steal his clothes. Now you are set to get a tour of the building from Imogen Royce’s assistant.
i. Following the Guide:
Given that you have the P41 form, you will get a tour of the ICA building facility from Imogen Royce’s assistant. Players can find her on a staircase behind the kitchen.
4. Get Body Searched by Guards
To get a security clearance from the guards, remember to not carry any firearm as it will prevent you from entering.
5. Hacking the Computer
While you’re inside the building, a 60-second timer will be set that can blow off your cover. You can stop this from happening by looking for a PC.
The room where the timer starts houses a computer on its left side. Interact with it as this will let Olivia into the system.
Remember to pick the Access Dongle from the desk and use it to hack a panel beside the window. This will help you dim the lights so that you can interact with the system unnoticed.
Once Olivia is in, the timer will go off.
6. Meeting Imogen Royce and Firing Employees
After Royce’s assistance, Royce herself will give you a tour of the building. Remember to pay attention to her, or she will get bored, which will end the mission.
Keep listening to her and eventually, you will reach Royce’s office on level 2 of the building.
Here, Royce will reveal her algorithms that can foresee the conduct and behavior of employees. To prove this, she will make you choose 3 ICA staff employees to fire.
Use this opportunity to get rid of Royce. You have to fire the following employees in the below-mentioned order:
- Alicia Reynolds: She will switch off the safety mechanism of the core.
- Jeremy Bolt: After getting rid of Reynolds, fire Jeremy Bolt. He will help you by distracting Royce’s bodyguards.
- Sharon Reed: The moment Reynolds leaves the core, fire Sharon Reed. The employee will be so disgruntled that she would be willing to kill anyone who will enter the core. Lucky for you, Royce is the person who is set to enter the core.
7. About Hitman 3
Developed by IO Interactive, Hitman 3 is a single-player stealth game. Playing as genetically-modified Agent 47, you will be required to take down the leaders of Providence. It is an evil organization that operates in the dark and influences how the world works.
The game will take you to many new locations like Dubai, Berlin, Dartmoor, Chongqin, Mendoza, and Romania to take down the sinister organization. Each mission will serve back-breaking challenges.
