High-Rise Invasion was a hit or miss anime for many fans in Winter 2021. The Netflix-original anime was a highly anticipated manga adaptation that lived upto the expectations of many after its release in February this year.
Season 1 left many loose threads in the story hence exciting fans for another season.
High-Rise Invasion is about a young high school student named Yuri who finds herself trapped inside a strange world with masked murderers and colossal skyscrapers.
These buildings are connected by suspension bridges used by Yuri and her team to fight through these murderers to ultimately escape the hell hole.

1. Release Date
High-Rise Invasion Season 2 is yet to be renewed. Season 1 was released on February 25, 2021, and ran for the duration of 12 episodes. Since the first season did pretty well, we expect Season 2 to be out by Fall 2021 or Winter 2022.
Neither of the producers, Netflix or Studio Zero-G, has announced a new season. However, the first season had a non-conclusive ending to the story so, there are definitely possibilities for us to get a second season soon.
2. What To Expect From Season 2
Season 1 of High-Rise Invasion ended with an incomplete story where many sub-plots and questions have been left unanswered.
In Season 2, Yuri would finally reunite with her brother, but the siblings could be used against each other due to Rika’s god-like powers.
We could also see a shift in the power dynamics where Yuri and the team would suffer a disadvantage against their enemies. Hopefully, the anime would stay true to its original source, which is the manga.

High-Rise Invasion is an action-horror manga series written by Tsuina Miura and illustrated by Takahiro Oba.
High-school girl Yuri finds herself on the rooftop of a skyscraper just when a masked man kills a man with an ax. She discovers that her beloved brother is also trapped in this godforsaken place along with her.
Yuri begins killing every masked man she encounters to protect herself and find her brother.
