We all knew that Akiba Maid War was not going to be a cute and wholesome anime, but for it to have this much brutality was definitely a shock. The story has everything from people getting gunned down and literal wars breaking out between maid cafes.
This violent anime was loved by all who are fans of the yakuza and black comedy genre and has now become one of the best releases of 2022. However, there are some who still haven’t seen the show: the dub watchers.
Worry not, as HIDIVE has revealed that it will begin streaming English-dubbed episodes for the Akiba Maid War anime on January 14, 2023.
The anime came out in October 2022 and ended with 12 episodes in December. Considering how the anime ended, there’s little to no possibility of a second season, as the finale gave us a satisfactory closure.
Moreover, HIDIVE has also revealed the cast working on the dub version, and they are as follows:

The series is set in 1999 in Akihabara, the hub of maid cafes and all things that look cute. However, there’s a dark reality hiding behind these things, and Akiba Maid War is just a violent and exaggerated version of it.
If you love girls who operate guns and get in yakuza-like fights, but for maid cafes, then this is the one for you. It is a show filled with ample amounts of action, scheming, and twists you’d never expect.
About Akiba Maid Wars
Akiba Maid Wars is an upcoming original anime series by Cygames and P.A. Works. Sōichi Masui is directing the anime at P.A. Works and Yoshihiro Hiki is penning the script.
The story revolves around two women, Nagomi Kazuhira who has come to Tokyo with dreams of becoming a cute main in Akihabara, and Ranko Kazutoshi who is a former maid coming back to the business.
