Blade meets with an old friend in episode 6 of Hero Classroom titled “The General and the Master.”

Wandering through town, Blade runs into the centaur Dione from his hero days. The King had summoned her to help transport mysterious freight wagons to the tower. He keeps everything a secret from Blade but is exposed eventually.

A pair of Simurghs attack the wagons and make Blade and Ernest suspicious. The King reveals that he has been transporting Simurgh eggs to the top of the tower for hatching and needs their help.

Now that the Simurgh eggs have hatched, Blade has two new children under his control. He must care for the twin Simurghs until they grow old enough to leave the nest and explore the lands alone.

Dione will also prove an essential character since she was part of Blade’s team when he was the Great Hero. More members of his old squad may come back on the King’s command and join the Academy like Dione.

Blade runs into an old friend, a centaur named Dione. He jumps to shut her up before she can accidentally spill his secrets. The King announces that she will be working as an instructor at the school from now on. As a part of her introduction, they showcase her talents in the main hall.

The other girls try to bribe Dione into spilling all the details about Blade’s childhood. She eventually talks about his mischievous childhood and the war that forced her to train and become stronger. Ernest is also suspicious about their relationship and asks about it.

Luckily for Blade, their conversation is interrupted by a Simurgh flying into town. The legendary bird destroys a freight wagon and flies away without hurting anyone. Ernest and Blade go to the King to confront him about all the suspicious wagons in the city.

He explains that he’s been carrying Simurgh eggs to hatch. As a result, the parents are in a frenzy, and it’s up to the students to protect the egg from them. Leonard, Clay, and Yessica act on the front lines to distract the Simurgh so that they can trap the bird.

Cu fires multiple fireballs at the bird, assisted by the flames of Asmodeus and Maria’s Satanic powers. The egg almost reaches the top of the tower, but it gets stuck midway, and Blade has to lift it. Dione also climbs up the side of the building to help him out.

The two lift it to the hatching point, where they meet the King again. Another Simurgh attacks, but they manage to fend it off in time for the egg to hatch. Twin birds pop out and immediately imprint on Blade as their parent.

Hero Classroom also known as Classroom of Heroes is a light novel series written by Shin Araki and illustrated by Haruyuki Morisawa, first published in Shueisha’s seinen manga magazine Ultra Jump between February and August 2015. A manga adaptation by Koara Kishida has been serialized since 2016 via Square Enix’s Monthly Shonen Gangan.

The series focuses on Blade, a relaxed transfer student who explore Rosewood Academy in an attempt to make friends. He meets Arnest Fleming, the top student at the academy yet still rivaled in strength by the newbie student Blade.
