The Assassin’s Creed Mirage Collector’s Case includes the Deluxe Edition of Assassin’s Creed Mirage with a complete pack inspired by Prince of Persia, a figurine of Basim, a selected soundtrack of the game, a unique steelbook with fan-elected design, a replica of Basim’s brooch, a map of Baghdad, a digital artbook, and more.
An Assassin’s Creed fan translated the text found on Basim’s statue, which is a part of the collector’s edition of Assassin’s Creed Mirage.
The 32cm model has a few Arabic words inscribed on it. A user from Kuwait explained it roughly translates to “From darkness come toward the light” or “Out of the darkness came out into the light.” Other users suggested similar phrases.
While a direct translation into English will not be as accurate, we can understand the general meaning of the text.
A fan theory claimed this could be a reference to the Assassin’s Creed motto: “We dwell into the darkness to serve the light.”
Ubisoft had described Mirage as a “return to its roots.” The game is said to be similar to earlier titles from the franchise, such as Unity, Rogue, and Revelations.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage will cost $50 at the final launch, with the deluxe and collector’s edition priced at $60 and $150, respectively. Assassin’s Creed Mirage is currently available for pre-order.
Ubisoft has decided to increase the cost of its big AAA titles up to $70. So, we can expect this to become the new standard.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage releases in 2023 for Luna, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
About Assassin’s Creed Mirage
Assassin’s Creed Mirage is an action-adventure game developed by Ubisoft Bordeaux and published by Ubisoft. The game is the thirteenth primary installment in the Assassin’s Creed series and the successor to 2020’s Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. While its historical timeframe precedes that of Valhalla, its modern-day framing story succeeds Valhalla’s own.
Set in 9th-century Baghdad during the Islamic Golden Age—in particular during the Anarchy at Samarra—the story follows Basim Ibn Ishaq (a character first introduced in Valhalla), a street thief who joins the Hidden Ones to fight for peace and liberty against the Order of the Ancients,[b] who desire peace through control. The main narrative focuses on Basim’s internal struggle between his duties as a Hidden One and his desire to uncover his mysterious past.
