Since its reveal two months ago, the hype surrounding Forza Horizon 5 has continued to grow as Microsoft and developer Playground Games have been exceedingly generous with the details.
After detailing the 11 different biomes that players will get to explore in the open-world racer, the folks behind the game have revealed the game’s map in its entirety.
As you can see in the image above, players will get to race across various terrains, from pristine sandy beaches to deep winding canyons.
The map also includes the vibrant city of Guanajuato, various unnamed landmarks, and somewhat at the center of it all, a gigantic volcano, which, yes, you will be able to drive up.
Furthermore, this map also features the longest highway of the franchise so far, stretching from the bottom left of the map to the top right.
If you recall from one of Forza Horizon 5’s previous breakdowns, each biome on the map will have its own weather system. So, racers will have a different experience waiting for them in whichever corner they go.
In the game’s most recent video, Creative Director Mike Brown also reiterated that Forza Horizon 5’s Mexico-inspired map would be 50% bigger than that of UK-based Forza Horizon 4. Brown begins his tour of the map at the 27-minute mark in the video linked below.
To nobody’s surprise, fans are delighted with what they’re seeing. The Forza Horizon subreddit, in particular, is showing no hesitation in sharing its excitement.
If you wish to get a little more excited, you should check out some of the cars you can get your hands on to traverse this enormous map.
While it’s essential to note that this is not a complete list, there’s no denying that even for a starter, it’s pretty impressive.
Forza Horizon 5 arrives on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on November 9.
