Episode 9 of ‘Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku’ Delayed to Early June

‘Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku’ punched us with a strong cocktail of beautiful colors with a lingering taste of fear. Although the story focuses on Gabimaru’s quest to gain the elixir, the last episode showed us the backstory of Shion and Tenza, the two members of the Yamada clan.

The two took center stage as they fought a strange being that could transform and regenerate itself. Tenza sacrificed his life to let Shion escape with Nurugai.

On May 21, the official English and Japanese Twitter accounts for ‘Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku’ revealed that Episode 9 will be delayed by a week. It is now scheduled to air on June 3.

This was further confirmed yesterday by Crunchyroll on its Twitter account. The English dub for the episode is also delayed to June 17.

Hell’s Paradise premiered on April 1, with Crunchyroll streaming it in Europe, Africa, Australia, New Zealand, and America in English dub and subtitles. Netflix streams the anime in Asian-Pacific countries, excluding Australia and New Zealand.

Every episode led to something different, especially what the different groups encountered. It also got deeper into the mysteries of the island. This is why a delay at this point hits harder. On the bright side, it is just a week. We can bear it, right?
