Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku Ep 13: Release Date, Speculations, Watch Online

Sagiri, Yuzuriha, and Senta defeat a Tensen in episode 12 of Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku, titled “Umbrella and Ink.”

It was a hard-fought battle with some great fight choreography. A sudden encounter with a literal god put the trio on backfoot. Slowly while fighting, they find a way to defeat the monster.

They did get big success as they found the weak point of the enemy and “killed” it. However, as we have seen previously, they are not going to die easily, and this time, too, the Tensen rose again in the form of a giant flower.

1. Episode 13 Speculations

We will bid goodbye to poor Senta in episode 13 of Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku.

It is the end road for our nerdy Asaemon. There is no way to save him now, and all that is left is to let him go by releasing him from the suffering. Sion has entered the battlefield, and he might have some trick under his belt to defeat this giant plant.

Mei will reunite with Hoko, and we will have an emotional farewell. Two major characters will bid farewell to us in the last episode of the first season of the anime. A lot is yet to come, and I am eager to see where the first season will end. 

2. Episode 13 Release Date

Episode 13 of Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku will be released on Saturday, July 1, 2023. It is a weekly anime, and new episodes are released every Saturday.

3. Episode 12 Recap

Sagiri and her band come across a Tensen. They get terrified by realizing the power level of the man. Yuzuriha starts to run away, but Tensen grabs her and tells her he just wanted to talk.

Saigiri tells him to leave Yuzuriha and asks who he is. Hoko tells them that it is a Tensen named Jiujun Amoghavajra. Jiujun tells them that nothing like the elixir of life or god exists on the island. It is all made-up stuff by his master, and it is just an island where they experiment on humans to perfect Tao. 

Senta steps up and tells Jiujun to let Yuzuriha go. Saigiri is surprised to see him take a stand for his convict. Jiujun tells Yuzuriha that she has some potential, as he can sense Tao in her. So he wants her to go with him.

Senta attacks him, and a fight ensues where none of the three are able to get the upper hand because no matter how they cut him, he grows back fully intact.

The fight continues while Jiujun tries to convince Yuzuriha to go with her. Sagiri asks Hoko if there is a way to strike a blow on Tensen. She gets back to fighting Jiujun, and this time, she slashes his torso.

He claims that it won’t work against him. Hoko had told her that all Tao is generated from the torso, so that point is the weakness. Jiujun makes fun of Sagiri for her low Tao.   

However, suddenly, he starts seeing a rise in her Tao, and she attacks him. Her attack causes visible damage, and the wound doesn’t regenerate. They are surprised to see her attack work. Sagiri had to adopt a different breathing technique to make the attack work.

The trio plans to work together. Jiujun gets agitated and starts launching heavy attacks on them. Yuzuriha is positive that they will be successful in killing the monster as it is no god.

She grabs Jiujun by her slime threads and throws him off. Senta grabs him from behind, and Sagiri slices his torso up, finally killing the monster. Sagiri still wonders how they were able to kill their enemy so easily.

While resting, Sagiri asks  Senta if he has some special feelings for Yuzuriha. He tells her that she is a free person, unlike him, and that makes him jealous. She can say that he has some kind of feelings for her, but it is mostly how he feels about his life compared to hers.

Gabimaru and the others wonder how they will find out more about Tensen now that they have killed the Doshis. They are still relieved as they can get something from Mei. Seeing Gabimaru, Fuchi is reminded of the note Sagiri sent and thinks that he is a much better person than she claims.

Gabimaru tells Mei to ask him about anything she wants as she has saved his life twice. Suddenly, he falls unconscious. Yuzuriha notices flowers growing from Jiujun’s body. A pointed plant sprouts out from the body and attacks Yuzuriha.

However, Senta interrupts and takes the blow himself, causing flowers to go out of him. He goes into an illusionary state where Yuzuriha dismantles the world he doesn’t like and lets him follow his passion, which is art.

Juijun transforms into a large flower, similar to the Tensen who was fighting Gabimaru. He attacks Yuzuriha and Sagiri, but Sion makes a dope entry and slices up all the tentacles.

Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku is a manga series by Yuji Kaku that ran from January 2018 to January 2021. It was serialized on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ website and app and has been collected into 13 volumes.
