Hello Kitty Island Adventure: My Melody’s Grandma and Grandpa Cabin Requirements

The latest Hello Kitty Island Adventure update has introduced My Melody’s Grandma and Grandpa as new Visitors. To get My Melody’s Grandma and Grandpa as visitors, check your Visitor menu regularly or listen for My Melody’s travel updates when you log in – they arrive on a scheduled basis, and here’s how to prepare their cabins!

1. How to Prepare My Melody’s Grandma and Grandpa Cabins

In Hello Kitty Island Adventure, the basic requirement for My Melody’s Grandma and Grandpa to become Visitors is to place their cabins in the Seaside Resort or the adjacent Cozy Islands cabins, as they prefer to stay near the character they are connected to.

You’ll also need to befriend My Sweet Piano by completing the ‘A Friend Indeed’ questline with My Melody. This is essential because the cabin for My Melody’s Grandma requires specific cottage furniture items, which can only be crafted and obtained after befriending My Sweet Piano.

i. My Melody’s Grandma Cabin Requirements

My Melody’s Grandma Visitor Cabin Requirements
The cabin must be near Seaside Resort It must have 3 pieces of Cottage Furniture It must have 3 Creative items It must have 3 Bakery items

• Consider asking Dear Daniel or Mimmy for Mama’s Apple Pies, to meet the requirement for 3 bakery items.
• For 3 creative items, you can use Quattro Fromaggio Pizzas made at the upgraded Retsuko pizza oven.

Once you’ve placed these items in the visitor cabin, open the visitor menu and select My Melody’s Grandma. Make sure a green checkmark ticks all requirements. My Melody’s Grandma will then visit every 4 weeks.

ii. My Melody’s Grandpa Cabin Requirements

My Melody’s Grandpa Visitor Cabin Requirements
The cabin must be near Seaside Resort It must have 3 pieces of Rocky items It must have 3 Volcanic items It must have 3 Metal items

• Craft 3 Ingots using 9 iron pieces at Chococat’s workbench for the requirement of three metal items.
• For the 3 rock items, collect 3 Gemstone Mountain critters, such as Rockadoodlers found near the Gemstone Town Mailbox.
• Similarly, for 3 volcano items, gather 3 critters like Tigersnoots (near Mount Hothead mailbox) or Grubbles (around Hot Springs).

Place all the items anywhere within My Melody’s Grandpa’s visitor cabin. Then open the visitor menu, select his profile, and confirm that all requirements are met. My Melody’s Grandpa will then visit every 4 weeks.

iii. Gifts for My Melody’s Grandma and Grandpa

Both My Melody’s Grandparents likes Music items, so you can gift them any items that have the Music tag, like:

• All Music Boxes
• Volcanic Guitar
• Sounds of Steel
• Volcano Soundtrack
• Mountain Soundtrack
• Microphone
