Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and the lot are ‘modifying’ their brains as they hit the books, literally and figuratively. As seen in the new HBO Max trailer, the Looney Tunes Cartoons are here for a Back To School Special.
The streamers became home to the iconic animated cartoon in May 2020, along with a new take on the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies short film series. HBO Max titles experimenting with the original characters include Space Jam 2, Bugs Bunny Builders, and Tweety Mysteries.
Bugs Bunny and co. first appeared in the 1930s in animated clips created by Hugh Harman and Rudolph Ising and produced by Leon Schlesinger.
The video description for the special reads:
School is (almost) back in session and loonier than ever! Watch all of your favorites, including Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Foghorn Leghorn, and more, in a class you’ll never get *board* of. The only rule in this school: there are none! #LooneyTunesCartoons
