Maou is shocked by the news since he is already financially troubled and does not have a backup plan. Suzune packs bags as soon as he returns home. It is at that point that he learns about the repairs.

The landlord sent him a package two weeks ago, Ashiya tells him as he enters his apartment. A DVD is found inside the box when Maou and his friends finally open it. The landlord’s remarks can’t be heard since they lack a player.

The DVD can then be watched in Chiho’s apartment. Emi decides to accompany Maou since they don’t have any other choice.

Maou learns from the landlord that he has to vacate his room for a few days due to repair work at the house. Immediately, Maou becomes worried about becoming homeless, but his landlord explains that she knows exactly where to put him up.

Currently, her niece is looking for a person who can help her with her beach house business in Choshi. She even provides Maou with her niece’s phone number at the end of the video message.

Emi agrees since this is a rare opportunity. Maou can get a job in Choshi and an apartment simultaneously if he takes up a job there.

His landlord’s niece is still available, so he calls her and is glad to learn the job is still available. Maou is dumbfounded when she offers to pay him 10,000 yen after briefly explaining his responsibilities.

Since he cannot find a better-paying job, he accepts the position immediately. Her niece, Amane, explains that she will be more than happy to welcome his friends since her beach house requires more help.

The following day, Maou informs Ashiya and Urushihara of his decision. Although the latter complains about not being consulted, Suzune points out that it wouldn’t have made much difference anyway.

Most of Maou’s responsibilities will be shared with Ashiya, so Urushihara does not have to work much. Maou and his friends begin preparations for their trip to Choshi once everyone is on the same page. Despite Chiho’s mother’s opposition, even she agrees to go on the journey with them.

The niece of Milk Shiba, Amane Ooguro, greets Maou and his friends after they arrive at Choshi. Managing the beach house is solely her responsibility, so that she could use some help.

The beach house is taken to and shown around by Amane in her car as she drives the group to the nearby locations. The beach will open the day after, Maou and his friends learn. Among the reasons for its popularity is that it receives sunrise first in the Kanto region.

The place is quite shocking to them when they see it. A layer of rust covers most of the beach house’s equipment and is extremely dirty.

Upon realizing much work to be done, Maou and others immediately get to work. This situation also presents him with an opportunity. Amane offers Maou more money in exchange for bringing in more customers.

In addition to paying Maou more, Amane accepts his offers on the condition that he helps make more profit. For quite some time now, Maou and his friends have been in dire need of money, so this is an excellent opportunity to improve their financial situation.

Suzune looks after Alas Ramus while Emi and Chiho offer a helping hand.
