Has Peace Prevailed in the World of My Hero Academia?

Peace is always something the hero society has strived for. The carefree days and the smile on people’s face is what the heroes fight so hard to protect. Now that My Hero Academia is coming to an end, Deku and his friends have fought the final battles and after shedding much blood sweat and tears, have come out victorious.

After the defeat of the mastermind- All for one, there is no imminent threat in sight. Is peace achieved? Will there be an even greater threat than these Villains someday? These are some questions that we will try to address in this blog

The world of My Hero Academia-Heroes and Villains

The world of My hero Academia was peaceful until quirk or meta abilities started manifesting in the ordinary people. Society started becoming more accepting of the extra genetic factor and the quirk became the new normal. When the discrimination and the criminal activities also began to rise, some people took it upon themselves to see their safety. This eventually led to the world of Pro-heroes and Villains that we see today.

When All For One in pursuit of his objective started mobilizing the Villains under his wing, this gave rise to even bigger threats that far exceeded the police and Pro heroes’s expectations. Pro Heroes in turn also amplified their training so that they were ready for the catastrophe that’s about to come.

Throughout the series, we witnessed the several skirmishes between Pro Heroes and the Villains leading to the ultimate showdown between them. All For One had left no stone unturned in his pursuit to achieve One For All and rule over the world. He had even manipulated Shigaraki Tomura, an innocent victim of the hatred and isolation into his plans. Eventually both were defeated by the collective efforts of heroes and vestiges of One For All users

The society seemed to have returned to a state of normalcy after the war. The peace for now has returned with the people rebuilding their broken homes and courage. It will be impossible to ever achieve complete peace but one thing’s for sure that new generation will never stop trying and thriving.

What does the future hold

The heroes have won but at a great cost. The Todoroki Family has broken down again. Ochako is still grieving the loss and Deku has completely lost his quirk. The aftermath after the grave war seems bleak but not all hope has been lost.

The characters are trying their best to move forward and are ready to embrace the future with deep gratitude. Even if the bigger threat than All For One and Shigaraki (Only the sequel will tell) appears someday, both the heroes and the society will be ready to face it together this time.
