Misha Collins plays one of the pivotal roles in Gotham Knights. Enacting Harvey Dent, an old friend of Batman and Gotham City’s district attorney, he has attracted much fan attention. The actor took to Twitter to reply to the massive fan campaign demanding the show’s renewal.
The 48-year-old actor was amazed by the immense solidarity and efforts for the show’s renewal. He tweeted his thanks and commended the fans on their massive achievement.
2. Will The CW Renew Gotham Knights For Season 2?
With the change in strategy for The CW and several recent and high-profile shows yet to be renewed, it is difficult to determine whether Gotham Knights will receive another season. However, the show has an edge over other shows due to its lower production costs and massive fan campaign.
However, according to sources of The Hollywood Reporter, The CW will only bring back one of its DC shows.
While earlier, the ratings were not as crucial in deciding a new season for a show, today, it has more importance with The CW’s new strategy. The factors that determine a show’s future have changed much from before.
However, though Superman & Lois has a higher rating than Gotham Knights, the latter has a stronger chance of being renewed due to its significantly lower production costs.
