Harness The Power of Curses – Warlock’s Armor Set Guide For Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn

Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn is rising in the gaming community as a Souls-lite game that blends the World of Medieval Fantasy Magic with the Guns & Glory of Steampunk.

Alongside its extensive arsenal of fancy weapons, armor is an essential part of the gameplay experience in Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn and choosing the right set can make a big difference in your success.

Enki is a fox-God with cursed magic abilities and Nor’s main ally. Players can unleash devastating attacks that afflict curses on enemies, thanks to his powers. And if you’re someone who relies heavily on Enki’s abilities and his skill tree, this armor set is a must-have for you.

The Warlock’s set is perfect for those who want to embrace the magical abilities in Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn. The armor set’s individual pieces harness the power of curses, making them ideal for those who love wielding Cursed Stones and Enki’s attacks on enemies.

Equipping at least two pieces of the Warlock’s armor set grants a set bonus, which states: “When you defeat a cursed enemy, all curses on that enemy are transferred to another enemy within 10 meters.”

While you’ll stumble upon the initial armor piece relatively early in the game, the rest of the set is scattered in the game’s second region, requiring you to advance through the main storyline and explore new lands to obtain the full armor set and its synergy bonus.

The Warlock’s Armor Set comprises three pieces: the Helmet, the Gauntlet, and the Pauldron. Each piece has its own unique combat abilities that allow you to harness Enki’s curse powers and unleash their full potential in battle.

The Armor Synergy Bonus of this set automatically transfers curses from defeated enemies to other nearby enemies within a 10-meter radius. This feature is a significant advantage for Enki’s curse magic enthusiasts, as it helps mitigate the limitations of its recharge times, allowing for a more fluid and effective combat style.

1. Warlock’s Helmet

In the Foglands area of Three Peaks, you’ll find the Warlock’s Helmet by taking a detour from the main path. After crossing the broken bridge, head left into a small valley instead of following the usual route to the right.

Heading up this path will lead you to a hidden clearing with a chest guarded by some enemies. Defeat them to claim the helmet, which is the only piece of the Warlock’s set not obtained through a Sapper quest.

2. Warlock’s Gauntlet

In Wanderer’s Rest, the second region of the game, you’ll receive the Tempered Bonds Sapper quest from Jung, which rewards you with the Warlock’s Gauntlet. To unlock this quest, you must first free Whitebridge Hamlet and meet Jung, who will task you with the Sapper’s quest at the campsite.

The quest leads you to Sunshelter, where you’ll encounter a group of armored knights. Their leader, Sentinel Gersis, who wields a two-handed sword, will challenge you to a combat trial. But here’s the tricky twist: no black powder or magic is allowed during the fight. Breaking this rule will turn the knights against you, forcing you to defeat them to progress.

Upon defeating the Sentinel, you’ll be rewarded with the Warlock’s Gauntlet, which you must then bring back to Jung to complete the quest (but don’t worry, you get to keep it for yourself later).

3. Warlock’s Pauldron

The Warlock’s Pauldron, the final piece of the set, is obtained through Johara’s quest, The Family Condition. However, this quest is only accessible after completing all other Sapper’s quests in the game.

Before tackling this quest, it’s best to complete Luca’s Sapper’s Quest, In Safe Hands, to receive a valuable firearm and then prepare for the upcoming battle by upgrading your weapons and skills.

In Wanderer’s Rest, Johara’s quest becomes available at a campsite, leading you to her family’s home on a separate map. Your Sapper rival will then task you with gathering items for a ritual, followed by a boss battle. When you emerge victorious, you’ll receive the Warlock’s Pauldron, finally completing the Warlock’s armor set.

Now, gear up with the Warlock’s Armor Set, Brave Sapper, and unleash powerful curses to annihilate your enemies!
