Killing Eve S4 Trailer: Do Eve and Villanelle Get Their Happy Ending?

The electrically charged detective-assassin duo is back! Killing Eve Season 4 trailer poses the uncertainly of Eve and Villanelle getting their happy ever after.

It has taken three seasons of killing, manipulation, and betrayals for Eve and Villanelle to admit their dysfunctional feelings for each other. Even then, instead of walking off into the sunset together, Season 3 ended with the two parting ways in a rather mellow manner.

Of course, it cannot end without the consequences of their actions (and well, the other characters’ misdemeanors) catching up with them. Season 4’s trailer teases the same:

Take a minute to recall Season 3’s affairs because I know it’s been two years since we last saw anything Killing Eve-related.

The teaser too starts off with Eve and V’s bridge scene, after which there is a quick montage of important moments from the past: Villanelle trying to kill Konstantin, Eve and V’s first kiss and then their Roman betrayals, and Carolyn killing Paul instead of Konstantin.

Season 4’s footage flips across too quickly, but we definitely catch two new characters, along with a brief appearance from Season 3’s antagonist Helene. There are also clips of Konstantin getting pushed into a water body and Carolyn getting kidnapped. Whew, the action is not getting any less intense!

The trailer ends with a battered-up V walking alongside Eve in a mobility scooter. It’s a cute, funny moment, so we can keep our fingers crossed that Eve and V have rekindled their affection.

Eve and Carolyn

(Don’t believe Carolyn when she says a happy ending isn’t in store for Eve and V!)

We remain thirsty for answers: What will Eve and Villanelle be up to after they separate in Season 3, and more importantly, how do they find their way back to each other? Plus, there’s the looming mystery of The Twelve and Konstantin’s real alliance.

Is it just me or has this trailer only left us with more questions than before? Team Killing Eve, you know what to do — release more footage now!

Killing Eve Season 4 will premier on February 28.
