Hanma Baki: Son of Ogre is the upcoming fourth season from the Baki franchise, which will premiere exclusively on Netflix. It will be the third Baki series on Netflix.
The gruesome violence, different forms of martial arts, and the powerhouse protagonist captured everyone’s heart, and since its premiere, it has been a tremendous hit among fans.

2. Key Visual

The latest trailer shows Baki entering the Arizona State Prison USA to challenge the strongest man in America, Biscuit Oliva. Oliva is a trained assassin of the US government who stays in the Arizona Prison.
The trailer also gives us a glimpse of the new opponents Baki will face in the coming series. The intense fight between Baki and Oliva is stated as the greatest fistfight since the planet’s birth.
Another trailer starts with Baki Hanma and soon shows how he feels compared to his
father, Yujiro. Yujiro fighting an African elephant with his brute strength is one of the most ridiculous yet satisfying clips in the teaser.
In the later part of the video, we see how his father recognizes Baki for a challenge, and that’s when the most epic fight in the history of Baki begins.
The trailer does an excellent job of building up the fight between Baki and his father in the upcoming anime.
4. Plot/Storyline
Hanma Baki: Son of Ogre will adapt the Great Prison Battle Saga. The series puts Baki on the road to his final confrontation with his father, Yujiro Hanma, but first, he needs to become stronger.
Baki chooses an extreme alternative method of training, which is to be sent to prison purposefully.
Baki puts his insane plan into action by kidnapping the President of the USA. Baki is arrested, and he requests to be sent to the same prison as “Mr. Unchained” Biscuit Oliva.
Oliva is known as the strongest man in the USA, and he is the only prisoner in the Arizona prison who is technically free at the same time.
Baki faces many other opponents besides Oliva in prison. Will he emerge victoriously and finally defeat his father?

I. Jun Guevara
Jun Guevara is a prisoner in the Black Pentagon. He is also known as Mister 2nd. He learned martial arts and special education from childhood and founded a country when he was young. He challenges Olivia, the strongest fighter in the US.
II. Iron Michael
Iron Michael is a great champion claimed as number one in the history of boxing. He is also a prisoner in the Black Pentagon.
III. Lips, Teeth, Tongue
Lips, Teeth, and Tongue are triplets known as Mouth. During a fight, they make a perfect combination as the personification of the greatest and smoothest cooperation like the lips, teeth, and tongue.
IV. Bob McCarthy
Bob McCarthy is a 27-year-old prison officer. He saw the fierce fight of Baki and Oliva closely. He observes the fight until the end, being astonished by both fighters, who overcomes his knowledge of martial arts.
6. Theme songs for Hanma Baki: Son of Ogre
The theme songs for the series have been decided. The opening theme song titled “Treasure Pleasure” is performed by GRANRODEO.
The PV gives us a glimpse of life in the Black Pentagon along with the OP. GRANRODEO has also performed the OP for Bungo Stray Dogs.
The ending theme is titled “Unchained World,” which is performed by GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE. The band says the song title with the word “Unchained” symbolizes Oliva as such we’ll have to look forward to what kind of song it is.

Grappler Baki known as Baki the Grappler in North America, is a manga series written and illustrated by Keisuke Itagaki. It was originally serialized in Weekly Shōnen Champion, and collected into 42 tankōbon volumes by Akita Shoten.
