Handyman Saitou in Another World Ep5: Release Date, Speculation, Discussion

All the characters come together and meet the main party in episode 4 of Handyman Saitou in Another World, titled “The Dawn of a New Era”.

Since Saitou found a new way in the Great labyrinth, everyone flocked to explore the new regions. The demon king and minister are among the first to come out with a bounty but have to withdraw due to a sneak attack from the ninja.

Raelza and Flanril get into a duel due to some treasure. The party finds a weird place deep inside with many things from Earth. The dwarf magician, Gibungle, meets Morlock and claims to be looking for him for 20 years as his student, but Morlock doesn’t remember him.

Episode 5 Speculation

Gibungle addressed Morlock as his master, so we will get to see Morlock’s backstory in depth in the next episode. We may even come to know why he left his position, being a skilled magician to go adventuring. Knowing Morlock, it can be a stupid reason instead of a serious one.

The party has met most of the minor characters. Since everyone is gathered in one place, Ravella, the witch Kisurugi fell for, might also make an appearance. We may also be able to find the mystery regarding all the artifacts from Earth in the weird cave.

Episode 5 Release Date

Episode 4 Recap

The Great Labyrinth is bustling once again because of Saitou. Cainz and Raichee introduce themselves to Saitou’s group. Monpui comes from behind, apologetic for ainz’s overbearing behavior, and takes his hand out to shake, but Flanril warns Saitou about the hidden needle on his palm, and he runs away.

The minister and demon king comes out with the head of a silver dragon, and everyone whispers about their strength. They, however, have to retreat when the ninja, Kisurugi, and, Primasse, the fairy, attack and temporarily kill them. The king thinks of exploring the labyrinth too, but decides against it due to his position.

The power wizard gives up on exploring the labyrinth quickly after he realizes that his big wand wouldn’t fit in the gaps.

A monster attacks the main party, and while Raelza is struggling against it, Liliza comes and slashes it. She introduces herself and Guivre.

Guivre, being a skilled thief and magician, tries to open the treasure chest but is unable to, so Saitou opens it instead. Guivre starts having a crush on Saitou due to his skills, and Lafanpan teases Raelza about another rival.

Monpui and Saitou both get separated from their party and wait it out together. While Monpui tries to be selfish, Saitou shares his sandwiches with him, something Monpui sees for the first time, and he starts feeling bad for his crafty personality.

Morlock and others find Saitou. To Monpui’s surprise, Cainz also comes running, and Monpui gets sentimental about Cainz being worried about him.

Raelza fights a monster guarding a chest, and Flanril comes in and kills it. They get into an argument as Raelza tells her that she could have killed the monster on her own and they decide to settle who gets the treasure with a duel.

Raelza struggles to keep up with Flanril’s nimble swift moves with her heavy armor and converts it into light armor, which Saitou set up before.

However, the strings of Raelza’s clothes open, and she screams for Lafanpan in embarrassment. They both withdraw, and Ninia asks Flanril to be more careful while crying. Saitou awkwardly walks in on them, having an emotional moment.    

While delving deeper, the party comes across a cave filled with artifacts from Earth of all eras. Suddenly, Kisurugi and Primasse attack them and Saitou and Raelza have to be saved by Gibungle. Kisurugi and Primasse retreat.

Gibungle sees Morlock and claims to be looking for him for over 20 years and adresses him as his mentor. Morlock, however, tells him that he doesn’t know him.
