My Next Life as a Villainess season 2, episode 7, titled “My Wish Was Granted…” was released this week.

So far, we saw that Geordo invited Catarina to his family vacation home during the summer vacation, and told him that she does not feel the same way as him. Catarina and her friends watched the fireworks together.

Catarina and her friends arrived at the Department of Magic,and unknowingly activated the wish-granting Dollhouse.

Everyone had their own unique desires and were unable to snap out of their dreams. Raphael even ended up getting sucked into his dreams when he tried helping them.

Episode 8 Speculations and Discussions

No preview is available at the end of episode 8.

It’s about time that Catarina confesses her feelings to one of the guys. If not confess, she should at least keep an open mind to reciprocating their feelings in the future. 

Shunning her emotions will not get her anywhere, and I’m sure she will soon realize that and take action. 

Although she has rejected Geordo, I still feel like she will gravitate towards him and choose him in the end. Then again, nothing can be assured. So, you might as well wait and watch as the story unfolds.

Episode 8 of the My Next Life as a Villainess Season 2 anime has been released on Saturday, Aug 21, 2021. The episode title or preview has not been shown.

No, My Next Life as a Villainess anime is not on break this week. Episode 8 of the second season will air just as scheduled. No delay has been announced. 

Recap of Episode 7

Episode 7, titled “My Wish Was Granted…” starts with Raphael reminiscing about his past days at the Department of Magic.

Raphael rants to Sora about the workplace and that it is not how it used to be. He misses the time when Larna used to encourage him. 

The following day, Catarina and her companions show up at the Department of Magic.

Larna mentions that she has a particular magic tool that she would like to show them.

Inside, Larna shows them a wish-giving dollhouse. Apparently, the dollhouse lets you live the most ideal life that you have in your mind. While she is away, the dollhouse initiates itself when Catarina opens the entryway. 

Larna, Raphael, Sora, and Anne watch Alan, Nicol, Sophia, and Geordo’s fantasies where they find a way to be with Catarina. 

Alan wishes to be a bird, while Nicol longs to be a cat. On the other hand, Sora hopes to be a Fairy, and Geordo is a pirate in his fantasy. 

In the interim, Catarina dreams about sitting idle. Larna mentions that there is a chance that they may never return if they get too comfortable in the dollhouse.

Raphael and Anne then choose to enter the dollhouse and rescue everybody. 

After splitting up, Anne notices Maria has swelling muscles in her fantasy. After viewing everyone’s fantasies, Anne encounters Catarina, and they go searching for Raphael.

To their surprise, they realize that he does not want to leave. Then, Catarina breaks through to him, and she destroys the doll.

The episode ends with everybody being released from the dollhouse and not letting Catarina discover their fantasies.
