Halo Infinite’s creative director, Joseph Staten has today announced that the game will release next year during the autumn season. Developed by 343 Industries, the upcoming Halo was supposed to launch this year. But due to the turmoil caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the franchise had to delay its launch.
Announcing this news, Staten said, “After Reach shipped, I became a Halo fan, cheering-on 343i from the sidelines.”
The Creative director further added, “But I’ve spent the last four months immersing myself back into the Halo universe, and it’s my honor as creative director to help our team ship Halo Infinite in Fall 2021.”
Taking a year’s time in releasing Halo Infinite isn’t necessary as bad as people will make it out to be.
Back in July, the game was heavily criticized when its gameplay trailer rolled out. The trailer was so awful that every hype surrounding it was killed. For a game that was presumed to be the launch title of Microsoft’s next-gen console, it was a let-down.
Now Microsoft owned 343 Industries has announced that Halo Infinite will release in the late months of 2021. To “create the best-looking Halo game ever,” devs need this period to visually tweak the FPS. It is also claimed that glitches will be removed so that Halo Infinite is a smooth game.
Even though the game received negative remarks from the gaming community, the creators asserted to be grateful for it. They commented, “Much of the feedback we heard from the community aligned with our own views and work,”
Moreover, another good news is that this is not the last you’re hearing from the developer. They will keep updating you about every path they take in this year-long journey.
As staten said “We’re going to be sharing more about what we’re doing and, most importantly, why we’re doing it.”
