The developers of Halo Infinite have revealed that the sandbox content of the game is complete. At the moment, the team is focusing on polishing the game to make the gameplay smooth.
Expectations are sky-high when it comes to Halo Infinite. Halo is a legendary franchise, and then the fact that Infinite is an open-world game gives birth to the excitement.
In a rather detailed post, the sandbox team gave enthusiasts an update on how far the game has come.
The team consisted of Lead Sandbox Designer Quinn DelHoyo, Tim Temmerman, David Price, Brian Berryhill, Elan Gleiber, and Kevin Stocker.
Talking about sandbox-style, DelHoyo said,
“The game’s sandbox refers to all of the vehicles, equipment, weapons, and objects that the player will interact with,”
“Essentially, all of the toys that the player gets to play with. The sandbox also includes all of the player systems and ‘verbs’ like jump, run, health values, shield recharge times, etc.,”
Quinn DelHoyo, Lead Sandbox Designer
Sandbox environment will add a new dimension to the game. Elements that Infinite shall house will enable players to further build their game up. Different maps, weapons, and vehicles, etc., will be added to the game so that players can play to their strength.
DelHoyo explained,
“The Sandbox Team’s responsibility is to craft those toys and shepherd them through the complete development cycle from concept to polish and ultimately ship.”

The best thing that the devs of Halo Infinite are doing is polishing the game. There is no point in rolling out a game when it is not prepared.
Ask CD Projekt Red what happens when you release a game that isn’t polished!
Discussing bugs and polishing, DelHoyo said,
“We have everyone fixing bugs on our launch content and some exciting efforts kicking off for future updates – like new vehicles, equipment, etc.”

With everyone involved with Halo Infinite working this hard and meticulously, the game will do well. *Fingers crossed*
