Summary:
- Halo Infinite has introduced two new items from Rio-028 of the Halo TV series.
- These items include the red-tinted helmet visor and Rio’s helmet.
- These items can be acquired by completing the ultimate weekly challenge of getting five sniper kills in a game or earning the No Scope Medal.
TV shows often crossover with specific games to boost viewership and player count. They offer a lot of limited-time merchandise from the TV show that can be acquired.
Halo Infinite has now launched two items based on the Halo TV show’s Rio-028 character. Rio-028’s red-tinted helmet visor can be unlocked by logging into Halo Infinite. The other item, Rio’s helmet, can be acquired by completing the ultimate challenge for the week from February 6 to February 13.
It must be kept in mind that, just as usual, players must complete the regular weekly challenge to begin constructing the ultimate challenge.
For the current week, the ultimate challenge can be completed in two ways. Firstly, players can kill five enemies with sniper rifles in a single game. The alternative is to earn the No Scope Medal.
However, Rio-028’s items are not the only ones coming to Halo Infinite, inspired by the TV Show. From February 20th to 27th, players can earn Vannak-134’s helmet as well.
The previous week was headlined by Kai-125’s helmet, which could be earned by completing that week’s ultimate challenge. It must be kept in mind that the show had quite a turbulent first season, and dedicated Halo players are expecting that Season 2 will pick up some steam and introduce some changes.
Halo Infinite’s long-standing tradition of hiding easter eggs continues with the most recent Illusion map featuring a secret room that is quite literally a haven for easter eggs. The Forklift is also drivable, given that players collect various ONI tags around the map during an Infection map.
Halo might be going cross-platform soon, as per recent industry insider rumors. Until then, players can grind and collect Rio-028’s items and show them off.
