2. Preview & Speculation
Whether Karasuno will win or lose the first set is the question of the hour. Among the spectators, Atsumu Miya seems to be keenly watching the first-year duo. Kageyama seems to have found his rhythm, and the spotlight seems to be shining on him.
It doesn’t seem like a walk in the park for Karasuno, who will have to go all guns blazing to defeat their opponent. Whether the other members of Karasuno will get their chances to shine is something we can look forward to!
3. Plot of Episode 10 “Battle Lines”
Our favorite team, Karasuno, is set up for their first clash in nationals against Tsubakihara Academy.
When tensions are running high, and nerves are building up, Hinata’s bag gets misplaced. We get a glimpse into Shizumi’s character, who saves the day and how she becomes a part of the Karasuno family. Also, it seems that Shizumi passes on the baton to Hitoka.
During the start of the battle, Kageyama seems to have a difficult time adjusting to the big court. Thankfully Yamaguchi’s Pinch-serve prevents the gap from widening.
However, Karasuno’s opponents seem like a strong team with members like Teradomari and Maru.
By the end of the episode, Tsubakihara is prevailing by 2 more points than Karasuno. The scorecard reads 13-15.

Hinata joins the declining volleyball team of Karasuno High and is appalled to find the very same Kageyama as his teammate. As Kageyama and Hinata realize the potential of their abilities as a duo, Karasuno High starts taking flight with the opportunities at hand.
The story follows the revival of Karasuno High and the unity they maintain to pave their way for nationals.
