Haikyu!!’s Season 4 Cour 1 came to an end in April 2020. Fans of the series are eagerly waiting for the next cour which will premiere on 2nd October.
Hinata and Kageyama have long since stolen our hearts. Fans are getting bombed with one unique character after another, and honestly? It is pretty hard to fangirl/fanboy over so many cool teams at once.
Missed the first cour and need a quick fix? Don’t you worry, because we have got you covered!
Here we have a brief summary of all the things you need to watch out for or remember before entering the second cour.
Ball Boy Trouble
Hinata sneaks into the exclusive training camp where Tsukishima and Kageyama are invited.
However, he has to play as a ball boy for the matches. He struggles with his duties and is repeatedly criticized.
With the help of Tsukishima, he is finally able to join in on the practice matches and prove his mettle.
Kageyama in a Fix
Kageyama gets to practice with a lot of highly skilled players. However, he is struggling a lot when confronted with Atsumu from Inarizaki High.
Karasuno is reunited soon, but Kageyama continues to struggle as he is called a “goody-two-shoes” by a setter.
The Nationals
As soon as Karasuno enters the Nationals, Hinata loses his shoe. This leads to a chance for Kiyoko to remember her time as a manager for Karasuno while she retrieves the shoe.
Our players face some difficulty with Tsubakihara as Kageyama hits a snag. He gets back on track soon enough, and Karasuno ploughs through the defences of Tsubakihara.
Inarizaki High and Twin Trouble
Karasuno team’s next match is with Inarizaki High, which is a formidable opponent.
The team has the twins Atsumu and Osamu. Atsumu is the setter, and Osamu is the spiker; their teamwork makes Karasuno struggle for quite some time.
After Kageyama trains Hinata, he is able to jump much higher but forgets to hit the ball in his excitement (Kageyama in the background: Hinata Boge!!).
