With its upcoming Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury anime, the franchise has finally received a female hero. It will also be the first new anime that Gundam has released in seven years.
Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury will be released in October 2022. The series has just revealed its new trailer and visuals which will give you a glimpse of the new heroine and her mobile suit:

A prequel project for this new anime is also in the works and it is named Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury Prologue. The prologue will debut in the summer of 2022.
