Gundam, the series that started the mecha genre is one of the classics when it comes to robots and sci-fi.
The anime series features an advanced storyline where mechanical robots could be used by humans to suit up and fight their enemies.
Sunrise announced in the Gunpla Expo Tokyo 2020 that the “Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway” anime film will reschedule its release to May 7th, 2021 due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The trailer features some of the scenes from the anime film. Intense background music and visually strong scenes have made this trailer thrill-inducing and we can’t wait to see what the movie has in store for us.
A new visual poster was also released with this announcement. The poster features the Xi Gundam with a tagline “The flash of fate…. Xi Gundam.”
The movie will be based on Yoshiyuki Tomino’s novel series “Senkō no Hathaway.” Set in the year UC0105 the story centres on Hathaway Noa, the son of the influential Federation ship captain Bright Noa.

The official website for the movie also announced that the anime film will renew some of the old designs, music and even voice cast.
The original Mobile Suit “Gundam: Hathaway’s Flash” novel series got character illustrations by Haruhiko Mikimoto where the mechanical designs for the said novel were made by Yasuhiro Moriki.
The movie will definitely be a success as the fans of the mecha genre have been craving to immerse in the storyline of their favorite Gundam series.
