Everyone can agree when I say that Gundam was the finest mecha anime of its time. It is so iconic that even now, it has a vast fanbase, all thanks to one of its creators, Yoshikazu Yasuhiko.
Gundam is a massive franchise with several spin-offs and sequels, and we can still never get enough of it! Yasuhiko has been a part of it ever since the 1970s and continues to make it better.
Yoshikazu Yasuhiko, one of the creators of Gundam, is working on a new anime film. He revealed this in an interview with Sunrise World.
The information regarding the title and other details of the film will be released soon.
Yoshikazu is one of the oldest and the best creators in the anime and manga industry. He has received numerous awards for his work through the years, and he stands as an inspiration for many.
He is known for creating and working on mecha anime like Gundam, Crusher Joe and Giant Gorg. Considering this, we can expect the new anime film to be sci-fi or mecha as well.
Moreover, he is planning on other stuff as well. In the interview, he revealed that a Crusher Joe movie is in the works too!
Yasuhiko also recently received a Special Award for lifetime achievement at the 44th annual Japan Academy Film Prizes. This award is given to someone who has contributed significantly to the industry, and we all know just how much Yoshikazu has done.
We can safely say that Yoshikazu is one of the people who brought a revolution in the industry with mecha anime.
Though they are mostly frowned upon, Yasuhiko worked hard and gave us many characters we all fell in love with. And it’s tough to wait for the new movie patiently.
Is the new film going to be sci-fi? Or space-themed?Or is Yasuhiko planning to explore a new genre this time?
Stay tuned to find out!
