Guilty Gear is an award-winning fighting game series, well-known for its detailed anime-style graphics, colorful characters, and technical gameplay.
Guilty Gear – Strive will be the seventh and final mainline installment, and overall the twenty-fourth release of the Guilty Gear series.
ArcSystemWorks announced that Deluxe and Ultimate Editions would be launching on April 6, 2021, and the Standard Edition on April 9, 2021.
These announcements were made on the release of Guilty Gear Strive during the “Guilty Gear Strive Official Live Stream New Info Special.”
The company has also released a trailer that reveals the new character Giovanna and shows a glimpse of a character that looks like Mito Anji.
The video also reveals that the game will be having an initial roster of 15 characters at launch.
The game was initially scheduled to be released in late 2020 but was delayed due to the COVID 19 pandemic.
The game will be released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC(via Steam).
Special colors for Sol and Ky will be available for those who pre-order the game.
The Deluxe Edition includes a copy of Guilty Gear Strive and the Season Pass 1. The bigger and pricier Ultimate Edition includes the digital soundtrack and artwork, and Ultimate Edition special colors along with the contents of the Deluxe Edition.

The game will also have an arcade version through the ALL.Net P-ras MULTI Version 3 service.
The company streamed two music videos for the “Smell of the Game” and “What do you fight for” songs that will appear in the game.
It has been confirmed, the game’s story will follow the Guilty Gear Xrd story. You can catch up on the Xrd story on YouTube, through the GUILTY GEAR Xrd -SIGN- Story Mode Chapter 1 (Official Video) that premieres on October 12, on the official YouTube channel of Arc System Works.
