However, the GHQ is equipped with skilled pilots who have their personal super awesome machines to enforce their will.

1. Release Date
Guilty Crown Season 2 is yet to be announced. Rumors about the second season have been floating around since 2017.
But there isn’t any substantial proof regarding the release. Still, we expect a new season 2 to arrive by Fall 2022.
Despite it being almost 10 years since Season 1 concluded, the anime hasn’t been canceled yet. Many fans also believe that there is more to the story and hence arises the need for another season.
2. What To Expect From Season 2
Guilty Crown Season 1 presents Shuu’s battle against the selfish “natural selection” or the survival of the fittest of human nature, represented by Mana and Gai. He also opposes Doth, the representation of the reproduction drive.
By the end, Gai wanted to save Mana since he wasn’t interested in anything else and was willing to put anything on the line to be with her. However, Shuu absorbs Gai’s void hence gaining the power to obtain Eve to create a new world.
After Inori sacrifices herself by giving away her latent Eve to Shuu, her body dies, and she enters another dimension, inaccessible to Shuu.
Season 2 would follow Shuu trying to bring back Inori no matter what and the events that follow afterward.
