Modules are important components which can enhance abilities and performance in The First Descendant. There are several modules in the game, all serving different purposes. You can acquire them via quests, loots, and vendors. There are only limited module slots in your setup so take your pick!
How to get Modules?
Every module has a specific requirement which you can check out under Acquisition Info. Here’s how you can do that:
- Open world map.
- Select ‘Access Info’.
- Go to ‘Module’.
- Click on any module and select ‘Acquisition Info’ to know its prerequisites.
There are four types of Modules– Normal, Ultimate, Rare, and Descendant-Exclusive.
How to equip a Module?
Here’s how you can equip a module:
- Open Inventory
- Go to ‘Descendant Module’ or ‘Weapon Module’
- Pick a module and drag it to an empty slot
How to combine Modules?
Players can combine modules at Silion’s in Albion, just to the right of Anais and her research station. Head over there and browse through the menu, select ‘Combine Modules’.
You can select any four modules and combine them. It will cost you a few thousand gold coins so make sure you have some handy.
The rarity and types of Modules selected does not matter. However, the new module won’t be of a lower rarity than the lowest out of the four.
Is it encouraged to combine Modules?
Although four-in-one does sound tempting, it really all depends on the types of modules you are combining.
Normal modules are better dismantled for Kuiper Shards. Rare and Ultimate modules are worth combining only if there are duplicates.
On the other hand, you can also combine modules if you don’t wish to spend valuable time grinding for unique modules.
