Here’s How to Unlock Every Base Weapon Variant in Modern Warfare 2 

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has over 50 weapons, so even for a veteran player, it can get pretty confusing to follow every weapon’s status. Thankfully, a kind player has come to everyone’s rescue with a helpful guide.  

Reddit user @MaximusMurkimus has shared a spreadsheet containing a list of all the weapons in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and how to collect them.  

The alphabetical list includes all weapons, namely assault rifles, battle rifles, launchers, LMGs, marksman rifles, sniper rifles, SMGs, shotguns, handguns, and melee. The list is categorized into three columns: weapon type, weapon variant, and how you can unlock them.  

The guide goes on to show how extensive the weapons system is in Modern Warfare 2. Some guns can be accessed by just leveling up, while others require reaching a certain skill level with other specific weapons.
