Pokemon TCG Pocket brings the experience of opening TCG packs and collecting cards. This newly launched game offers a variety of Pokemon cards for players to collect. The rarity of the cards depends on how popping and eye-pleasing they are. But did you know there is another way to make your cards stand out?
Flairs are cosmetics designed to make your cards more visually appealing. They are animated decorations- like sparkles, stars, and flames, that erupt from the card when you view them.
1. How to get Flair in Pokemon TCG Pocket?
Players can get Flairs for their cards by crafting them using Shinedust and duplicates of the card they want to customize. The crafted Flair, Shinedust, and number of duplicates required can vary with different cards.
There are two types of Flair: Cosmetic Flair and Battle Flair. Cosmetic Flair can be created using single diamond rarity cards and some promotional cards. It has a constant effect on the card.
Battle Flair applies only to Pokémon cards in a deck. Pokémon with a single diamond rarity have at least one Battle Flair, while Pokémon with a single diamond rarity have only one Battle Flair. It appears when a card enters the field.
To unlock any Flair, you’ll need to gather several copies of that Pokémon or Support card, along with Shinedust. You can earn Shinedust by finishing Missions, engaging in Battles, leveling up, and opening packs.
2. How to apply Flair?
You can add any Cosmetic Flair you have unlocked when picking cards for your Binders or Display Boards in the My Cards menu.
When you select a card, a Flair icon will appear for any card with an unlocked Flair. Tap the icon to add the Flair; it will be visible when you view the Binder or Display Board.
To use both Cosmetic and Battle Flairs in battles, add Flairs while setting up your decks in the Deck menu. When you choose the 20 cards for your deck, a Flair icon will appear for any card with an unlocked Flair.
3. Flair Cost for different cards
There are four stages of flairs, and you must unlock the lower ones before accessing the more expensive ones. The amount of Shinedust and duplicates required are listed in the table below-
Rarity | Duplicates Needed | 1st Flair Shinedust Cost | 2nd Flair Shinedust Cost | 3rd Flair Shinedust Cost | 4th Flair Shinedust Cost |
1-diamond | 3 cards | 50 | 75 | 150 | 225 |
2-diamond | 2 cards | 80 | 120 | 240 | 360 |

4-diamond | 1 card | 720 | 1080 | 2160 | 3420 |
